Terms of Service

LIN Education provides educational video lessons and related learning content for students in Myanmar. Many lessons are open to everyone. Some lessons require full access, described below.

Lessons marked with a gold mark require full access. Full access covers every subject and every lesson for a set period, and it is arranged directly with LIN Education or through your school or teacher. The app itself does not sell anything and does not take payments.

Access may also be granted by an access code issued by LIN Education or by a teacher. A code is valid for a set number of days from the day it is redeemed, may be limited to a number of students, and may have its own expiry date.

Full access ends when its period ends, and the lessons that require it stop playing at that point. We may end access earlier if it was granted in error, if a code is withdrawn, or if these terms are broken. Any question about a payment or a refund should be raised with us directly, since arrangements are made with us and not through the app.

The app can save lessons to your device so you can watch them without an internet connection. Downloads are for your own use on your own device.

A lesson that is open to everyone stays available offline. A lesson that requires full access plays offline only while your access is current, and the app needs to connect to the internet at least once every 30 days to confirm that. When access ends, saved copies of those lessons stop playing.

You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for the activity on your account. Please let us know if you believe someone has used your account without your permission.

Use the app for your own learning. Do not share your account, copy or redistribute the content, attempt to disrupt or break the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

All lessons, videos, text, and other materials in the app are owned by LIN Education or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to view the content within the app. You may not download, copy, or redistribute it except where the app provides that feature.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LIN Education is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these terms or the service from time to time. If you keep using the app after we post changes, you accept the updated terms.
